A field of light ivory wool provides the ground, defined by a subtle, geometric pointalism that creates both pattern and depth. Across the surface, tiny squares of light taupe silk rise slightly from the low wool pile, arranged in a quiet, grid-like composition. These delicate silk forms catch the light differently than the surrounding matte wool, introducing a faint, shimmer-like texture and complex tonal layering within a very close color field.
The precise arrangement of these elements provides a calm humanist structure to the handwoven surface. The density of the weave ensures a resilient foundation, suitable for moderate use. Variations inherent to undyed wool and hand-knotting are present, rendering each piece unique.
