A deeply saturated crimson field forms the core of Rubis Élevé, anchoring the composition with its concentrated warmth. This central pane, recalling the intense pigments of traditional lacquers, is defined by subtle internal shifts in value, preventing monochromatic flattening. Surrounding this vibrant interior is a multi-layered border structure.
A wider, deeper burgundy band provides initial framing, followed by a thinner, defining outer strip of burnt umber, grounding the brighter red. The rug's structure is apparent in the slightly raised texture of the hand-knotted pile, which absorbs and reflects light across its surface. This interplay of strong color boundaries and varying pile heights gives the piece a architectural presence in any room, serving as a powerful, grounding element suitable for defining a main seating area or a formal dining space.
