The Astral collection brings celestial poetry into woven form. Twelve rugs feel like a night sky and a jewel case at once: a strictly nocturnal palette of deep midnight navy and saturated lapis, illuminated by champagne gold linework and diamond-white star points, with dreamlike notes of banded malachite, dusk turquoise and warm carnelian blush.
The motifs drift rather than repeat. Scattered starfields, slender constellation threads and gently off-center orbits cross the field. An abstracted four-lobed lattice gives the designs their structural heartbeat, loosened into an irregular rhythm shaped by human hands. Gemstone facets and mineral veining suggest cut hardstones with soft edges and tonal harmony.
Every rug is hand-knotted in Kathmandu from premium New Zealand wool, with pure silk reserved for clustered star points and gilt facets so the glint stays low and controlled. Knot densities range from 60 to 180 knots per square inch, and celestial nodes sit just proud of the field, felt as much as seen.
