Faceted Planes from the Plisse Collection by Weaver & Loom

Faceted planes create a quiet landscape of interlocking geometric forms across this hand-knotted field. Inspired by the precise folds of a single continuous piece of cloth, the design uses contrasting pile heights to define its geometry. The raised, textured ridges of the geometric tessellation catch the light, casting soft shadows that shift throughout the day, while the lower pile planes offer a smooth contrast.

The monochrome grey surface, composed of variegated natural fibers, creates a subtle depth without overwhelming the architecture of the pattern. One concentrated, deep indigo line cuts through the calm field, emphasizing the structure of the intersecting angles and providing a singular moment of saturated color. The intricate weaving technique required for these defined textures results in a substantial material presence, offering a sophisticated sensory experience beneath the feet.
