Alabaster Reed begins with a fine-spun undyed alpaca field, catching a cool light. Across this soft neutral ground, a subtle variation in yarn twist creates a low, organic cord, mimicking reeds caught in shallow water. It feels deep and quiet. A very narrow line of low-sheen silk is introduced, barely visible, like the lightest bead-shimmer glinting near the fringe.
The texture is directional, a calm horizontal shift that adds depth to the quiet monochrome palette. It is a material-first floor covering, relying on the varied natural shades of noble fibers and a precise weave to create calm. Handwoven in Kathmandu, the rug carries a sense of quietude and restrained luxury, built on craft and the breathability of its materials. This is an undyed piece that allows the faint shimmer to define its structure.
